Am curious to know what Vitamin D 2 is. My labs came back that I am Vitamin D deficient. When I asked about an OTC regular Vitamin D, I was informed I need the 2…which is only in prescription strength. (Haven’t had filled yet, until I get more info) I am not able to find any literature on the difference between the reg vitamin D, and vitamin D 2. However, I didn’t look all that much. Have only read a few articles about Vitamin D…but, as of yet-haven’t found a thing in regards to what the 2 is. Found one or two articles on Vitamin D 3, but, nothing too informative. When I asked my pharmacist…he was kind of clueless. Thanks for any feedback.
